Using REST API and Middleware, Securing IoT Devices and Securely Connecting the Dots
Abstract
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a really revolutionary technology with unfathomable potential for development, influence, and capacity. We outline the function of REST API in IoT Systems and some basic ideas for IoT, a field whose technology can track and count everything. We also emphasise the idea of middleware, which links these devices to the cloud. The security and privacy of data are now under increasing danger from emerging IoT applications in the cloud. Therefore, it is necessary to implement a secure IoT system that forbids attackers from entering the network through IoT devices and secures data while it is being sent from IoT devices to the cloud. We describe how the Representational State Transfer (REST) API enables linked devices to be exposed securely.
