Modeling the Determinants and Gender, Age and Ethnicity Difference
Abstract
Telecommunications centres offer certain people of disadvantaged communities with shared access to information and communication technology facilities. According to recent surveys, this endeavour is fast expanding throughout underdeveloped countries. The telecentre projects, without a doubt, provide a cost-effective solution to the problem of computer and internet access. Identifying the characteristics that determine individual acceptance is thus a crucial barrier to the successful use of this instrument for bridging the digital divide. Regardless of the advantages gained by using telecentres. There have been relatively few research undertaken to investigate its acceptability in Nigeria. It is also questionable if information system acceptance models can be utilised successfully to analyse acceptance.
