American & Indian Comics on Instagram using Machine learning
Abstract
Instagram is the third most popular social networking site among Indian college students. This research compares Indian and American-origin comics on Instagram to investigate new age pop culture art in the two countries. The study was carried out by assessing the material based on factors such as the number of followers, likes, and comments, as well as analysing the content created in the two cultures by researching the types of characters, topics discussed, and the primary colour palette employed. The approach for the investigation was content analysis utilising machine learning. The material is created in India and the United States. Virtual Comic culture appears to be more prevalent in America than in India.
