Abstract

IOT (Internet of Things) is taking the market on a new level and knocking on doors with new prospects for inventions with every improvement in Internet speed and bandwidth. This study discusses an IOT-based surveillance and control system for energy-efficient electrical devices. Lighting appliances use a lot of energy, so finding ways to enhance efficiency and speed up defect detection is a difficult task. Depending on the type of application, two distinct model techniques are used in this paper. IEEE 802.11 wireless technology is employed in limited spaces or tiny spaces when all the appliances are linked to a single Wi-Fi network. In the second form, which is modelled after a pole of a street lamp, the number of appliances increases only in one direction.
