Abstract

For 60 years, gas turbine engine health management technology has advanced alongside engine development itself and is now recognised as a crucial component of system performance monitoring and maintenance. This technology is made possible by a number of fields, including improved measuring technology, electronics, software technology, and trustworthy system modelling. This study contrasted the state of domestic research with the past, present, and projected technical trends of a technologically sophisticated nation. The analysis suggests the major research areas for the development of technology.
